Value of Old Banknotes from The Goderich Bank, Canada
Old Money from The Goderich Bank
No one really knows much about the Goderich Bank. It was only open in 1834. Bank notes with a date of 12 Sept. 1834 were printed for the one and two dollar denominations. These were also denominated in shillings (as five and ten shillings notes). Each note was signed by Edw. C. Taylor and printed by C.P. Harrison Sct N. York. Today all surviving bank notes are very rare. We have a two dollar bill at the bottom of this page.
