Value of Old Banknotes from The Phenix Bank of Phillipsburgh, Canada
Old Money from The Phenix Bank of Phillipsburgh
It is not often you see a Canadian bank that touts itself as being from the state of Vermont. The Phenix Bank didn’t actually have any connection to Vermont or Phillipsburgh. It was a completely fabricated financial institution. The bank was setup by fraudsters so that they could print paper money and then spend it at little or not cost to the scammers. One, two, and three dollar notes were issued. They can be dated as May 4 1837 or Oct 8 1941. Some of these notes are actually surprisingly valuable. Please contact us for details.
