The Saint Francis Bank “existed” from 1855 to 1857.  It never really opened for business.  Attempts were made to locate in both Stanstead and Toronto.  Toppan, Carpenter & Co. New York and Phila printed five and ten dollar proofs.  These proofs are readily available today for a few hundred dollars each.
