Value of 6 Mai 1935 $25 Bill from Banque Du Canada
Banque Du Canada 6 Mai 1935 Twenty-Five Dollar Bill
Description: These $25 bills are often grouped with the rest of the 1935 French version bank notes from La Banque Du Canada. However, the $25 bill is actually a special commemorative issue that just happened to also be issued in 1935. They are actually dated as 6 Mai 1935. These were issued to celebrate the silver jubilee of the reign of King George V. He and Queen Mary are pictured on each bank note. The years 1910-1935 are also shown. Each bank note even says Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Of The Accession Of H.M King George V. These were saved in higher numbers because they were a special issue. Government records show that no more than 1,840 could survive today. Our guide has more information about values and pricing.
Varieties: There are no varieties for the Ottawa emission de 1935 $1 bill from La Banque Du Canada. Each note is signed by J.A.C. Osborne as the sous-gouverneur and by G.F. Towers as the gouverneur. Of course the red serial number and overall condition will differ from note to note.
