Banque Du Canada 1935 Five Dollar Bill
Description: A young Prince of Wales is pictured on the front of each 1935 five dollar bill. All of the text on these bank notes is in French. The front of each note has a light orange tint. The back is a deeper orange color. The back shows a vignette of electric power with an allegorical Greek figure. All of these $5 bills were printed by The British American Bank Note Co Ltd Ottawa. This is the second most common denomination from the ten note 1935 French series. See below for more value information.
Varieties: There are no varieties for the Ottawa emission de 1935 $1 bill from La Banque Du Canada. Each note is signed by J.A.C. Osborne as the sous-gouverneur and by G.F. Towers as the gouverneur. Of course the red serial number and overall condition will differ from note to note.
