This bank was around in the 1830s. We don’t know many details about it today other than it was a “joint stock” bank. It only issued one denomination of currency. That was a $1 or une piastre bank note. If these are issued then they are dated as 23 Juin or 23 June 1837. Keep in mind that there are lots of remainders that are not dated, numbered, or signed.
If you have an issued bank note then it should be signed by A Duquette and H Haineault. Remainders are only worth about 10% of what issued bank notes are worth (thanks in part to a discovery and disbursement of dozens of remainders).
