Value of Jany 3rd 1911 $1 Bill from The Dominion of Canada
Dominion of Canada Jany 3rd 1911 One Dollar Bill
Description: Lord Grey and Lady Grey are featured on the front of each 1911 one dollar bill from The Dominion of Canada. The back vignette shows the Parliament Building. This issue is the oldest (non-fractional) note that can easily be bought for less than $100. Of course high grade examples will be worth considerably more.
Varieties: There are two main varieties for the 1911 $1 bill from The Dominion of Canada. We are showing what is known as a “black line” note. There is a black line going across the bottom fourth of the note. It separates the green design from the plain design. Some notes could have a green line instead. Both varieties sell for similar prices in circulated grades. Premiums are paid for green line notes in grades above VF.
